John MacLean lives and works in central London, UK. He has been established as a freelance photographer since 1998.

Although specialising in the field of architectural photography (including interior design and architectural models), John also undertakes commissions to document artworks, exhibitions and products.

John graduated with a BA (Hons) in Photography and subsequently spent four years working at the Royal College of Art before becoming an independent photographer.

He has had two books published: Cambridge (An Architectural Guide), and Edinburgh (A Guide to Recent Architecture).
